This is a great entry level management position designed for someone who loves to build client relationships and take a project from beginning to end.
To be successful in this position we are looking for a organized, motivated self starter that can work independently and multi-task with attention to detail.

| Duties: | Solicit group business, respond to group leads, qualify potential clients and book and service meetings and events.
Make outside sales calls in an effort to identify corporate meetings business or preferred accounts.
Provide property tours for qualified meeting planners to familiarize them with our product.
Send collateral and proposals to all qualified meeting planners.
Prepare contracts for clients.
Prepare Banquet Event Orders.
Secure necessary funds in advance of all functions.
Oversight of each function to to ensure client satisfaction.
Participation in networking events and hospitality-oriented organizations.

| Qualifications: | Associates degree (2 year college or technical school).
Six months to one year experience.
Hospitaltiy experience preferred.
Working knowledge of the INTERNET, word processing, Power Point and excel.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
